CHIC HPV Online Post-Symposium Regional Engagement – Asia 2025

July 15th 2025.
Following the CHIC Southeast Asia and Western Pacific symposium on HPV vaccination, the Post-Symposium Online Regional Engagement workshop aimed to maintain momentum, foster regional collaboration, and support participating countries in advancing HPV vaccine introduction and scale-up.
This session provided an opportunity to revisit action points agreed during the symposium, share updates from countries, and discuss common challenges and solutions in program implementation.
Session Objectives:
- Share progress on implementing key action points discussed during the CHIC Symposium, with a focus on HPV vaccination program strengthening.
- Highlight achievements, identify ongoing challenges, and review context-specific approaches from participating countries.
- Encourage peer-to-peer learning by exchanging practical experiences on demand generation, health worker training, communication strategies, and catch-up vaccination.
- Engage in targeted discussions through breakout groups focused on critical implementation themes such as single-dose transition, vaccine hesitancy, and reaching out-of-school or hard-to-reach populations.
