The fourth CHIC Regional Symposium on HPV for Southeast Asia and the Western Pacific took place in Manila, hosted by the Philippine Department of Health in collaboration with the University of Antwerp, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and JHPIEGO. Gathering 95 participants from 17 countries, the event aimed to strengthen HPV vaccination efforts and cervical cancer elimination strategies. The symposium emphasized the hosting country’s commitment, showcased regional experiences, and fostered peer learning to address access challenges, optimize single-dose implementation, and draft a collective research agenda.
