Tracking, and follow-up – Lessons learned from other vaccination programs (Polio)

In this presentation, Kebba Touray and Marie Aimée Babona Nshuti share how the AFRO-GIS Centre—originally developed to support polio eradication—is now being used to enhance HPV vaccine delivery across 45 African countries. Through real-time mapping, school-based microplanning, and digital tracking tools, GIS is helping optimize immunization campaigns and strengthen health systems across the continent.
