Vietnam’s HPV vaccination program is set for national introduction in 2025, following pilot initiatives in Can Tho and Thanh Hoa that achieved over 90% coverage. Current rates remain low, with only 12% of women aged 15–29 vaccinated, and significant disparities by region, education, and income. The program will target 11-year-old girls with a single-dose Gardasil schedule, using schools, health facilities, and outreach to reach underserved areas. Efforts focus on addressing rumors, improving data systems, and strengthening communication and healthcare worker training.
