Timor-Leste introduced nationwide HPV vaccination in September 2024, targeting girls aged 11–14 during campaigns and 11-year-olds in routine immunization. The program uses Gardasil (4vHPV) and combines school-based outreach, health facilities, and community sweeps, supported by strong social mobilization. Mother Support Groups and faith leaders play a key role in reaching out-of-school girls, despite logistical and geographic barriers to accessing remote populations.
