Myanmar’s HPV vaccination program, launched in 2020, transitioned from a two‑dose to a single‑dose schedule in August 2023 following SAGE and NITAG guidance. National coverage reached 90% in 2020 and 88% in 2023, with over 970,000 girls vaccinated. The program targets 9–11‑year‑old girls, including missed cohorts, using school‑ and community‑based strategies supported by the Vaccine Management Information System. Challenges include reaching special populations, ensuring workforce capacity, and sustaining financial and security resources.
