Cervical cancer is the most common cancer among Guinean women, representing 45.4% of all new female cancer cases (IARC, 2022), with 2,551 new cases and 1,695 deaths annually. The country plans to introduce the HPV vaccine in Q4 2026 through a national multi-age campaign targeting girls aged 9–14, followed by routine vaccination of 9-year-olds across 38 health districts. Guinea has opted for a single-dose bivalent vaccine, as recommended by the NITAG to simplify logistics and maximize protection. Vaccination data will be integrated into the DHIS2 national health information system for real-time monitoring. Targets are set at 90% coverage for the introduction campaign and at least 60% for routine vaccination within the first three years.
