The HPV vaccination program in Côte d’Ivoire progressed from pilot projects in Korhogo and Abengourou to nationwide introduction in 2019, later transitioning to a single-dose schedule in 2023. Stakeholder coordination involved government ministries, scientific societies, civil society organizations, and technical partners through inclusive committees established before and after vaccine rollout. Key strategies included advocacy workshops, community mobilization, and targeted efforts to reach out-of-school girls. Challenges remain in sustaining community and inter-ministerial engagement, especially within private schools. Opportunities lie in strengthening multisectoral partnerships and leveraging upcoming multi-age vaccination campaigns to improve coverage and program sustainability.
